Learn to confidently write stunning
iPad Calligraphy WITHOUT the intimidation!

(Even if you have messy handwriting, have never opened
Procreate before and don’t think you’re creative enough)

Is any of this you?

You’ve seen Lettering on the iPad all over instagram & YouTube and want to learn how to master it, but maybe you’ve experienced a few of these :

  • Completely overwhelmed with no idea where to start
  • Would love to dive in, but learning Procreate alone is hard
    enough!
  • Find it hard to control the Apple pencil on the slippy iPad screen
  • Have no idea which brush to use, or what a pressure sensitive
    brush even IS?!
  • Know something about thick and thin strokes, but not sure which
side of the letter to put them

Perhaps in your most adventurous moments you’ve made the commitment to start and watched some video tutorials on YouTube and Instagram Reels (in hyper speed). Or maybe you’ve followed artists that inspire you keeping an ‘inspiration’ folder on Pinterest with your favourite work.

But even with the best intentions, most would-be digital lettering artists abandon the learning process very early on.

Here’s why most would-be
iPad Calligraphy artists abandon the process

Without a super clear, step-by-step roadmap, most aspiring iPad lettering artists get lost. They lose their way, getting bogged down in the Procreate hang-ups (the pros always make it look so easy!), and their time and energy gets sucked into trying to work out interface actions.

And there’s nothing more detrimental to those creative flashes of inspiration than spending 15 minutes trying to remember *how* to do something! By the time you figure it out, you’re thinking ‘what was that idea I had again’?! And it’s already time to get back to your busy life.

Therefore, it’s important to learn the complete path of Calligraphy on the iPad and Procreate right the first time. And there IS a direct route to wrangle these two learning curves!

INTRODUCING
iPad Calligraphy from Scratch!

The complete A-Z (literally!) programme for confidently creating Instagram worthy Lettering on the iPad (even if you just downloaded Procreate).

I’ve taken everything I’ve learned over the last 7 years, and condensed it into a complete roadmap that leaves no part of the journey out and takes nothing for granted…

The end transformation gives you the ability to confidently create beautiful lettering on the iPad that you’ll be proud to post on Instagram, create cards for your friends or even pursue professionally!

How it works
It’s a Stroke-by-Stroke Process

STEP 1
Master the Procreate
Interface

The Procreate interface is incredibly slick, but that can be intimidating if you’re not sure how to do anything. So we start with the basics and learn the gestures and actions you need to know to get set up for your practice. We introduce new and fun features as we move through the course, bit-by-bit so you never feel overwhelmed, even if you’re completely new!

The fact that you have these files forever and can erase and practice over and over is awesome!

STEP 2
The Letterforms

Psst… I’ll let you in on a little secret – there are 8 strokes that make up the entire alphabet. Learn these, and you’re well on your way. We cover the basic strokes as well as each and every letterform in detail. And remember it’s completely portable, so you can practice from anywhere!

The worksheets include directional arrows and red dots to show you the start and direction of every stroke! (Left handed version included)

STEP 3
Writing Words

Once you get the letterforms down, it’s time to learn how they connect to one another, and how much space to leave between. The letters are grouped into different categories for easy reference, and there’s one special tip that will keep your words looking balanced and professional everytime!

STEP 4
Flourishing

Most people are initially attracted to calligraphy because of the beautiful swirls and swooshes aka, flourishing! It’s part of what takes neat writing and turns it into art. So I could hardly leave it out! We cover the essential things to know so you have everything you need to take your skills to the next level.

CLASS PROJECT #1
Rainbow Lettering

It’s nice to have a win early on and to see that you can do this! That’s why we cover one of the most popular lettering styles, gradient lettering. In this class you learn how to make a base gradient texture and apply it to your lettering. It’s also fun to use as your practice layer for the rest of the letterforms 🙂

CLASS PROJECT #2
Vintage Frame

In this class project, I show you how to create this decorative vintage style frame to really show off your new skills! The lesson includes the stamp brushes from my ‘Shapes & Ornaments’ pack.

CLASS PROJECT #3
Lettering a Full Quote!

This is where everything comes together and I show you my exact method for designing quote composition, and how to create beautiful, balanced calligraphy with decorative flourishes.

We’ll finish it off by applying a stunning glitter texture! The full ‘Glitter and Foil Kit for Procreate’ included.

I can’t believe how much of an improvement I can already see from before the course to now. I have terrible handwriting but told myself it wouldn’t matter and I was right!

If you are thinking about taking this course, go for it! You will gain an amazing skill that will make you feel great about doing something for you! For me this was almost like a wellness course, just taking time out for myself and learning something amazing in the process. This art form is stunning!

What People Ask Before Joining This Course …

When does the course start and finish?

The course starts as soon as you enroll and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course – you decide when you start and when you finish.

How long do I have access to the course?

You have access forever! As long as iPad Calligraphy exists, you have access to this course. You can watch it on any device as often as you like!

I’m left handed. Will I be comfortable using the worksheets?

I have recently added a left handed version of all the worksheets designed especially for lefties! The guide letters are positioned on the right so you can clearly see the examples without your hand covering them!

What if I am unhappy with the course?

I would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact me in the first 14 days and I will give you a full refund.

How long will it take to complete the course?

It depends how much practice you do. The course content can be consumed within a few weeks, but if you go at the suggested pace, you can be finished in 5-8 weeks!

How much time should I allocate for practicing per week?

I know life is busy. And that level of business varies for everyone. This is a go-at-your-own-pace kind of deal. You have lifetime access to the course, so there’s no rush to complete. I supply a suggested schedule which has 3-4 20 minute practice sessions per week. They can be spread out any way you like. Even a couple condensed into a longer session to lessen the frequency if that suits you better!

What if I don’t have experience with Procreate and I’m overwhelmed when I open it? Will I be able to keep up?

Yes. I know it feels overwhelming when you’re new to something, but I can assure you, the course will guide you through. You’ll be learning one level at a time, and by the end you’ll be completely confident using Procreate!

What if I’m completely new to Calligraphy?

The same as above. The content is delivered in levels and you won’t feel like you’re drinking from a firehose, but sipping from a tea cup!

What if I’m not an artist or designer? Will I still be able to do this?

Absolutely! I believe everyone is creative and has the ability to write beautiful lettering. You will first need to get out of your own way though, if you doubt yourself, but once you’re past that, we’re golden!

Can someone else purchase the course for me as a gift?

Yes, no problem at all! Just reply to this email with the details and I’ll sort that out for you!

Can I use the course for commercial work?

Yes, you can use the calligraphy style and any of the included resources in commercial work. For any finished artwork examples, try to make it different if you are using it commercially (fine to copy for practice though!)
