How do I set my Copperplate Brush at the right size?

“How do I set my Copperplate brush at the right size?” That’s probably the number 1 question asked, and today I want to address it.

Often people think their brush is broken or the pressure sensitivity isn’t working properly when they first try the Copperplate brush in Procreate. There is a common misconception that the stroke width should be dramatically different ie. the thick strokes really thick and the thin strokes really thin. But that isn’t the case with this style of calligraphy and there’s a very good reason for that. I’ll explain why in the video, and show an easy way I recommend you set your brush size. We’ll also look at how to save the brush size so you don’t have to worry about forgetting!
