One of my main missions with the content I produce, is to keep you inspired and share methods that help you achieve high quality results quickly and easily. Today I’m going to show how you can create an elaborate, intricate frame in a matter of minutes by using stamp brushes in Procreate.
I’ve always been attracted to a Victorian / 19th century style of lettering and design. Maybe it’s my time living in London surrounded by hundred year old tavern signs on every street corner. It certainly helped make for an interesting environment, and was part of the inspiration behind the brush pack that is featured in this tutorial.
This style of design can be tricky to replicate, especially without the basic shape and design tools that you would find in an application like Photoshop. This became the other motivation to create this pack – keeping those missing features in mind. While it isn’t new (released 2017), I’ve just today added 40 ‘Catchwords’ to the kit. Catchwords are featured a lot in this style, so it felt like the perfect addition!
