I’m very excited to say, a new Pack of over 100 Brushes for Procreate just launched in the Shop! This is something I’ve been working on for months and couldn’t be happier it’s finally come together.
This pack is the culmination of lots of testing and tweaking. There’s a stack of brushes in here, so I wanted to give you a quick overview of what’s included.
Procreate is Awesome, But…
If you’re here reading this, I don’t have to tell you about how brilliant Procreate is for calligraphy and lettering! BUT the lack of basic shapes can be a real time suck if you want to enhance your designs…
Sometimes I just want to add design elements quickly and easily. I got weary of exporting and importing shapes from Photoshop. I just wanted to stay in Procreate and finish the whole piece right there. Included in the set is 20 different shape brushes. Choose your brush, tap, you’re done!
Outlined Shapes
Then there’s 23 different outline brushes. These perfectly match the solid shape brushes so you can easily create a stroke in a different colour. Nice.
Motifs, Corners and Divides
A large variety of 40 different design Motifs. Enhance your lettering, add dividers and flourishes. Stamp corner elements in your frames. They are hand drawn to match the feel of your work.
Border Brushes
15 Borders included. These are designed to easily repeat so you can adjust them to as long or short as you need.
5 Bonus Texture Brushes!
PLUS 5 ink splat texture brushes included (I was so tempted to say ‘But wait! There’s more!’ 🙂 ) Easily add a bit of grittiness to your work without leaving Procreate!
What You Can Do
Here’s an example of some of the beautiful vintage frames you can create when you combine these brushes. This took me all of about 1/2 an hour. So much easier than drawing from scratch, leaving you more time to be creative and focus on the lettering itself.
